Technical Foundation
Not an add-on. The other half.
Terra reaches 40Hz linear. For most work, that’s enough. For film, game audio, immersive formats, or rooms where the low end actually matters, it isn’t. Gravity closes that gap, extending the system to 30Hz linear without touching the phase, the imaging, or the translation you already trust.
It connects to Terra’s rear panel and disappears into the system. No separate amplifier to match levels with. No bass management crossover to configure. No phase alignment to guess at. Terra’s DSP handles all of it. You hear the low end, not the integration.
Add Gravity and the system reaches 30Hz linear, F6 at 20Hz. System headroom increases to 112dB @ 1kHz, 106dB @ 50Hz. The rest of the picture doesn’t change, because nothing upstream of the crossover does.
Driver Technology
26cm PuriFi PTT10.0W96-08. Designed for exactly this.
The same hybrid motor architecture and symmetrical surround geometry as Terra’s woofer, scaled for dedicated low-frequency duty. Custom concave aluminum diaphragms maximize bending stiffness where these drivers operate. Uneven stiffness creates harmonic distortion. Asymmetric excursion creates compression. This design eliminates both, even at the long throws required="required" for deep bass.
The result is a subwoofer that tells you what’s in the recording, not what the driver wants to add. When you hear bass on Gravity, it’s in the session.
System Integration
One control point. Zero compromises.
Gravity contains no amplification and no electronics. Everything, power, crossover, time alignment, calibration, comes from Terra’s rear panel and Terra's DSP. That’s not a cost reduction. It’s the reason the two systems behave as one. There is no seam in the crossover because there is no independent system on either side of it. You can access Gravity specific controls through the Houston software application.
Over-the-air calibration updates applied to Terra extend to the complete system. Your Terra + Gravity improves over time, because ours does.

From 30Hz. Right decisions.
Terra handles 80Hz to 30kHz. Gravity takes it down to 30Hz linear. One calibration, one control point, one picture. The low end you hear is the low end that’s there.
