Your Profile Card
This is your hero section. It shows your portrait photo, your name, role, studio name, city, state (if applicable), country, and the Ex Machina model you use. Your portrait photo does not have to be a professional headshot, it just needs to be clear and in focus. A photo of you in your studio, at the console, or anywhere you actually work is ideal. Photos that include your Ex Machina speakers are strongly preferred.

Your Quote
Just say what it’s like to work with your Ex Machina monitors in your own words. Your impressions of the speakers, how they fit your workflow, what changed when you started using them, or how they’ve affected the quality of your decisions. You don’t have to hit all of those beats and it doesn’t have to be polished. One or two honest sentences beats a paragraph of marketing speak every time.
Every time I sit down at the console, I need to trust that what I’m hearing is real. With the Terras, I stopped second-guessing low-end decisions. I mixed three albums back to back without touching the bass twice. That doesn’t happen by accident.
Your Bio
A short paragraph about who you are and what you do. If you hate writing bios, we hear you completely. Just give us bullet points, or a link to your site, or even just a few notes and we’ll write something for you that makes you look like the star that you are. Nothing here is mandatory, and nothing gets published without your approval.
Marcus Reed
Marcus Reed has spent fifteen years building one of Nashville’s most in-demand independent mixing rooms. Starting as a tracking engineer at Blackbird Studio, he cut his teeth on country and Americana sessions before pivoting to the louder, more textured world of indie rock and alt-country production. His approach is rooted in dynamics, preferring to find space in a mix by controlling what isn’t there rather than adding more. His work has appeared on records released through Merge, New West, and Thirty Tigers. He works on Ex Machina Terra monitors, which he credits for his confidence in low-mid decisions across a wide range of room acoustics.
Your Credits
Add as many credits as you want, but the ones that matter most here are the ones you made on Ex Machina monitors. The only fields that really matter are artist name, album or song title, and your role on the project -- if you have the rest, great, but we can track down artwork, release dates, and streaming links ourselves. Credits without artwork still display fine. Don’t let missing details stop you from adding a credit.

Studio & Session Photos
These are photos of you in your space, at the console, during a session, or anything that shows where the work happens. They do not need to be professionally shot. Phone photos are completely fine. The only requirements are that they’re reasonably sharp and well-lit enough to see the room. The imperfect ones, the ones that feel like a real moment, are often the best ones. Any photos that include your Ex Machina speakers are a bonus. You can give each photo a caption when you submit.
Your Links
Your website, Instagram, SoundCloud, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, or wherever you want people to find you. All optional. Include what makes sense for how you work and what you want people to see.
